Conor McGregor lamentó la muerte de su tía a causa del COVID-19: “Este maldito virus”

Conor McGregor recibió una triste noticia durante las últimas horas: su tía falleció en Irlanda. El luchador lamentó la partida de la hermana de su madre a través de un mensaje publicado en Instagram, donde sugiere que la muerte habría sido ocasionada por efectos del coronavirus.

El excampeón de la UFC tenía todo listo para vivir una jornada especial. ‘The Notorious’ estaba a punto de anunciar la donación a una entidad a través de una emisora radial en Dublín, capital de su país. Pero una llamada telefónica cambió todo.

“¡Iba a ser un gran día! Un día para estar orgulloso, incluso traje a mi familia conmigo al estudio. Sentado en la silla, a punto de transmitir en directo para todos los programas de entrevistas matutinos de Estados Unidos, recibí una llamada telefónica en la que me decían que mi pequeña y encantadora tía Anne había fallecido”, señala en Instagram.

Enseguida, Conor McGregor dejó entrever que las causas de la muerte podrían estar relacionadas con el coronavirus que, según información del medio RTE, registra más de 100 casos en Irlanda.

“No podría seguir en vivo. Mi pobre y amigable tía amorosa. La hermana de mi madre. Este maldito virus. ¿Qué diablos está pasando? Llevé a mi familia a la isla del toro. Miraba al mar. Respiré hondo”, añadió.

En el cierre, McGregor parece resignado y se despidió de una persona muy querida. “Somos todo lo que tenemos. Descansa en paz Anne Moore. ¡Te amo!”, concluye.

Ireland you amazing, amazing country. I believe we have this virus contained. And through this containment, we actually may have gone and contained them all. The good habits we will have now gained from this wild covid-19 attack will see us too strong in future. Hand hygiene. Touching of own face hygiene. I would float around in this manner, and always end up catching little colds and flus. I feel bullet proof right now though! I’m switched on like a motherfucker now.
