Artista canadiense pinta su cuerpo y logra verse idéntica a los superhéroes de cómics [Fotos]

El cosplay es un arte que consiste en transformarse en uno de tus personajes favoritos de alguna película, serie, anime, cómic y más. La idea central es parecerse lo más posible, por eso se imita las expresiones y actitudes del personaje.

Para esta tarea los cosplayers utilizan disfraces y utensilios externos. Rompiendo con este molde, aparece Kate Pike. Esta chica canadiense de 28 años hace cosplay pero de una manera particular y sorprendente: pinta su cuerpo.

En principio Pike disfrutaba del cosplay a través de disfraces que ella misma confecionaba, pero un problema de salud de pronto le impidió continuar con este pasatiempo. Fue entonces que conoció a un artista que le enseño a realizar 'body painting', es decir, el arte de pintar su propio cuerpo.

Pike comparte en Instagram fotos de sus transformación que son tan reales que por momentos parecen ser trucadas. Sin embargo, ella prueba la veracidad de sus trabajos publicando videos en los que muestran el procedimiento a través del cual pinta su cuerpo.
