Los cantantes , y J.Cole tuvieron un emotivo gesto con un niño de once años que sufría cáncer terminal llamado Elijah Williams.

El menor de edad falleció el pasado 27 de marzo y fue su primo, llamado Michael Watson II, quien anunció la noticia en su cuenta de Instagram e indicó que, al final de su lucha pudo conocer a sus ídolos musicales por FaceTime.

“Mi primo de once años, Elijah, ha luchado contra el cáncer con la mayor resistencia durante los últimos tres años. La pelea física de Elijah ahora está completa, pues partió al cielo el viernes”, afirmó el joven en su red social.

Over the past 3 years, my 11 y.o. cousin, Elijah, has battled cancer with the utmost resilience. Elijah's physical fight is now complete, as he transitioned to heaven on Friday. He didn't leave this world without knowing how much he was loved though. Last weekend, Elijah got to "meet" 3 of his favorite artists — The Weeknd, J. Cole, & Drake. Incredibly grateful for these 3 super-humans being so caring for my family during this time. We’ll hold onto these moments forever. A special thank you to the angels, Kathryn & Krystal for helping make this happen in such a short time. Please lift Kiara, Elijah's mom, and the rest of the fam up in your thoughts & prayers. “Elijah ‘conoció’ a sus tres artistas favoritos: The Weeknd, J. cole y Drake. Estoy increíblemente agradecido con estos tres superhumanos que se han preocupado tanto por mi familia durante este tiempo”, sigue el joven que también subió las fotografías de las conversaciones de los músicos con su familiar.

En uno de los videos se escucha a The Weeknd afirmándole al niño sentirse honrado de ser uno de sus artistas favoritos.
